Why 200-Hour Meditation Teacher Training In The Himalayas?

India is home to many holy places, customs, and spiritual wisdom. One of them is Rishikesh, the residence of saints and enlightened sages. It is the birthplace of yoga — in short, a well-liked location to learn about spirituality and meditation. It is found in the state of Uttarakhand, flanked by hills on three sides and the banks of the Ganges River. It is simple for students and teachers to stay focused and grounded in this haven for aspiring yogis and meditation seekers.

The 200-hour mindfulness and meditation course is a 15-day residential immersion at Nirvana River Resort in the Himalayas, with daily bathing in the river, walking meditation and practice in the lap of nature. Our teachings focus on the experiential, spiritual, and transformational aspects of yoga for the overall development of students and the journey of awareness.

Why Mindfulness?

As our mind is filled with chatter, our view of the world becomes distorted and tainted, and we lose the ability to be in the present moment — that is why we need mindfulness meditation. This is a great requirement in the modern world for all age groups, genders, religions, and cultures. We have only one problem, that is our mind, and the solution is mindfulness training.

The fundamental human capacity to be present, aware of our surroundings and our actions, and to avoid becoming too reactive or overwhelmed by them is known as mindfulness. By putting aside our judgment of the mind’s processes and embracing our innate curiosity about what is going on in the moment, mindfulness meditation invites us to be present in each moment with warmth and compassion, both toward ourselves and toward others.

Don’t think your practice is right or wrong. Simply bring your whole heart to your practice.

Food, Accommodation, And Other Facilities

Accommodation

You will get ideal and simple accommodation during the meditation course at Nirvana River Resort in the Himalayas. It makes your meditation experience more advantageous and enriching. We are nestled near the beautiful Ganga River within the Himalayan foothills. It will be a reviving encounter to become a true yogi.

Food

Our eating style and the food reflect our internal state. It is said that you will become what you intake. In simple words, the kind of food consumed by you determines your behavior and personality. Your diet depends on the healing mechanism and cleansing to rejuvenate the body. Food is included in the course fees of the meditation training course by the World Peace Yoga School.

Sattvic or Yogic food increases stamina and flexibility for meditation sessions, asana practices, and pranayama. The nutritious and healthy food nourishes your emotions and mind. It brings you to a state of tranquility and calmness. Food contains no meat, eggs, fish, onion, garlic, etc. We use honey and Indian cow milk. If somebody has any allergy we provide vegan and gluten-free food.

What Is Yogic Diet?

According to yoga, food comprises six flavors and five constituents, just as the body is composed of these same elements. A balanced or yogic diet is one in which we eat foods that include all of the elements. These ideas form the foundation of Ayurvedic science as a whole. Everybody has unique preferences. This is a result of what the body requires as well as their behaviors. We develop illnesses when we eat without understanding what our bodies need. On the other hand, we are content and healthy when we eat food that possesses all the required components.

A yogic diet provides the body with the right nutrition it needs to flourish. Avoiding an unbalanced diet is crucial since eating too little or too much may have detrimental effects on our health. Meat, eggs, and other tamasic foods are always avoided by yogis. Staying away from tamasic cuisine makes you more understanding and adaptable. Take a listen to Guruji’s vegetarian talk.

Green vegetables, fresh fruits, lentils, beans, and plant-based oils such as those from coconut, mustard, peanuts, etc. are all part of a vegetarian or healthful diet. This type of meal is simple to digest and leaves us feeling calmer, lighter, and more aware.

What Makes Meditation In India Stand Apart From The West?

India is credited as the yoga’s birthplace. Approximately 10,000 years ago, yoga originated in India. Yoga asanas were developed by several ancient monks and sages as a way to maintain physical fitness. To reach a higher state of meditation and ultimately Samadhi, they had to maintain a healthy, disease-free body.

When done correctly, yoga helps to maintain both the youth and health of your body. Let’s see why India stands apart from Western countries for yoga travel:

Reliable yoga teachings

To practice real yoga and meditate, many choose to travel to India. These days, a variety of yoga types are quite popular, including Ashtanga, Kundalini, Hatha, and Integral yoga. Indian yoga gurus are responsible for developing the majority of these yoga forms. People travel to India to learn these yoga methods from Yoga gurus and have firsthand experience with them. Offering real yoga for more than thirty years, World Peace Yoga School is among the top Rishikesh yoga teacher training courses. To put it plainly, individuals now have the opportunity to study yoga in its original form, unaltered by its increase in popularity in the West.

Yoga philosophy

Except for India, every country views yoga as a type of physical activity. However, yoga is a way of life and culture in India. As a result, if you decide to pursue yoga teacher training in India, you will also have the opportunity to study yoga philosophy. Gaining a thorough understanding of the theory and lifestyle of yoga is essential to reaping the full benefits of this ancient practice and experiencing its wonderful beneficial consequences.

Perfect environment

Yoga schools in Rishikesh provide a distraction-free environment where everyone is focused on learning and practicing yoga. The focus of the daily schedule is on learning and applying yoga concepts.
