At World Peace Yoga School Bali, for the sound healing course in Bali we use Tibetan singing bowls, which combine ancient vibrational practices with modern scientific understanding of how sound affects the body and brain.
Tibetan singing bowls are made of alloys of different metals. When they are struck or circled with a mallet, they produce sustained harmonic tones and vibrations. These tones contain multiple frequencies, creating a rich sound field that can be both heard and physically felt. Bowls are placed around or sometimes on the body, allowing vibrations to travel through tissues and fluids.
We provide Sound Healing Level-1 & Level-2 certification under YACEP.

The major portion of the human body is composed of water, which conducts vibration smoothly and efficiently. When vibrations are created on Tibetan bowls, these mechanical sound waves can travel through the body and create gentle resonance, which:
Sound healing can activate the parasympathetic nervous system: it slows down heart rate, reduces cortisol, deepens breathing and improves hormonal balance. This in turn supports stress reduction and emotional regulation. The benefits of sound healing therapy are deep relaxation, stress and anxiety reduction, improved sleep quality, emotional release, focus during deep meditation, and increased body awareness.
Age: Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
We provide freshly cooked sattvic meals 3 times a day. It is our discipline for students to stay away from alcohol, non-vegetarian food, and tobacco, as they might hamper the inner system while following the yogic lifestyle at school. We also provide very beautiful accommodations like private rooms, 2-sharing rooms, 4-sharing rooms and 6-sharing rooms. Students should keep their personal and surrounding spaces clean, as it is part of karma yoga. Behaviour is critical – students must respect teachers and other students.
There are countless books on yoga available, covering a range of topics from philosophy to asana practice, from history to modern application. Here are some recommended yoga books to deepen your understanding of the practice:
