Know The Chakras

Seven Chakras In Kundalini Yoga

The word “Kundalini” originates from the word “Kundal,” which suggests a serpent coiling around an object. Within each of us is a tremendous and potent energy known as kundalini. Until we try to awaken it, the human body’s kundalini energy is dormant. It can be activated by various practices such as kundalini kriyas, yoga, meditation, and pranayama. Your body’s energy moves upward, linking the seven main chakras.

Here are further details about each of the seven chakras:

01 Muladhara chakra symbol
01 Root Chakra

Muladhara

Muladhara is the root chakra or the basis of the human body’s physical and spiritual existence. The three characteristics of a soul—Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas—are connected by this root. This chakra, which is believed to form a strong connection between the body and the soul, is located at the base of the spine. All six layers of the chakras continue to exist on this primary chakra. When this chakra is awakened, all energy is directed upward to reach a high state of daze, much like a stockroom of energy on a static phase.

02 Swadhisthana chakra symbol
02 Sacral Chakra

Swadhisthana

Above the Muladhara, this kundalini chakra serves as the center of all reproductive energy. This is also beneficial for the reproductive and sexual energy centers that give rise to life on our planet. This is also one of the most problematic chakras for humans as it results in a strong propensity toward sexual desires. When this Kundalini is awakened, it can elevate the Brahma Beej and give good control over one’s sexual desires.

03 Manipura chakra symbol
03 Solar Plexus Chakra

Manipura

The third chakra, Manipura, also known as the power seat, is the third Kundalini chakra. It is located below the navel. It is the location of the sense of personal recognition. This is the hub that regulates our physiological and physical health and has a positive effect on the body’s energy flow. You can think of Manipura chakra as a ball of fire, or a burning sun to focus on this chakra. Manipura Chakra is represented by 10 Petalled lotus & yellow color.

04 Anahata chakra symbol
04 Heart Chakra

Anahata

The Kundalini chakra, which governs human emotions, is located in the middle of the chest in the spine. When awakened, this chakra can reveal a profound sense of contentment and tranquility. This chakra will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride upon awakening, encompassing a range of happy and sad emotions before arriving at a state of complete bliss and tranquility. While this chakra is opening, some people may also feel a brief sense of divinity and hear flute and humming noises.

05 Vishuddhi chakra symbol
05 Throat Chakra

Vishuddhi

This chakra represents purity and is situated in the cervical plexus, directly behind the throat area. When this chakra is activated, unique skills such as a lovely voice, singing ability, and captivating conversations are revealed. Chanting Mantra Jaaps and listening to devotional music are two simple ways to open this chakra, which requires Shabd Yoga.

06 Ajna chakra symbol
06 Third Eye Chakra

Ajna

The ability to control the entire physical body is widely recognized for this ultimate kundalini chakra. It’s right in the middle, between both of your eyes, right above your eyebrows. It is referred to as the powerhouse and offers profound stillness, intense light flashes, and visions. Mahadeva Shiva’s third eye is among the best examples of the chakra’s power.

07 Sahasrara chakra symbol
07 Crown Chakra

Sahasrara

Sahasrara is a high level of Kundalini chakra, located just above the spinal cord in the center of the skull. This chakra, which resembles a lotus with many petals, is thought to represent the highest level of achievement possible while in the physical realm. When this Kundalini is awakened, it can undoubtedly grant a human being their highest state and unlock amazing powers for trance. We can awaken this chakra and methodically tie together an incredible amount of energy with Sadguru’s guidance.

What Is Sattvic Or Yogic Diet?

According to yoga, the human body is made up of 5 elements similar to the 5 elements present in food. A yogic or sattvic diet is balanced when the food contains all these five elements. Ayurveda science is totally based on these principles. According to the body’s needs everyone prefers different tastes. You can create diseases when you eat meals without proper knowledge of body requirements.

Sattvic and Yogic diet contains all the required nutrients your body requires to grow and become healthier. Consuming less or too much amount of food is dangerous for your health and the Yogic diet takes care of it. If you want to follow the yogic diet then you must avoid meat, eggs, and other non-veg products. It will make your body more flexible.

The sattvic diet includes clarified butter, herbal teas, honey, sprouted seeds, sprouted grains, nuts, legumes, cheese, nut and seed milks, fruits, vegetables, etc. You can also use plant-based oils like peanuts, mustard, coconut, etc. In short, sattvic food includes freshly prepared and lightly cooked meals. It is a nutrient-rich food and does not include any fried or processed foods.

Every step is an opportunity to grow, do not let it pass you by
