My experience was very professional, and it was very easy to work with the team here. The teachers made every class feel personal.
At the gateway of the Himalayas, you will find World Peace Yoga School — a yoga school designed to take you on a journey of self-transformation.
We are in Rishikesh, one of India’s seven holy cities and the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’, in a serene spot behind Laxman Jhula police station. We sit on the banks of the Ganga, her flow lapping at our steps; you hear her day and night, bringing the essence of spirituality to your soul. Encircled by the Himalayas, you feel the vibration of the ancient seers and sages who meditated here, keeping the energy and magic alive.
As Patanjali wrote, yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind — and there is no better place to experience self-evolution. Our location makes it a powerful space for transformation, and we create communities of people inspired to live extraordinary lives.

Our dining reflects what we teach and promote: World Peace — food for the soul and sustainability for the world. The rustic interior has gobar (cow-dung) walls, the traditional way of building homes in rural India, with floor seating, bamboo ceilings, and wooden furniture that bring nature indoors. The energy is light, airy, and natural.
Our restaurant serves plant-based vegetarian food, and Indian cuisine will change the way you think about it. Food is linked to our physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing, so we serve sattvic food — ‘goodness and purity’ that gives life to mind, body, and spirit. Meal times follow the yoga schedule, and our cooks prepare everything fresh each day, with love.

Away from the hustle of the main bazaar, World Peace Cafe is, in one word, tranquillity — radiating the energy of peace and unity. With Ram Jhula to the left and Laxman Jhula to the right, the setting is incredible, with the ambience of an authentic rural village: gobar walls with hand-painted art and a cafe where love and service come first. Sattvic food is made with love and served in sustainable tableware.
Designed with you in mind, the cafe is a perfect place to unwind with quality products for your wellbeing and the sound of mantra playing softly in the background.
World Peace Cafe is also about giving back. Each month we work with three organisations: when you pay, you can donate as little as one rupee to the one you choose, helping those less fortunate and spreading unity, peace, and love.
When you have finished, the Ganga is a stone’s throw away — take a stroll and absorb the energy of the mighty flowing river.
Ensuring that we are there for the world, there for World Peace, and there together to serve humanity.
Our rooms bring the comfort of home to your stay, with a serene, simple yet comfortable setting and light, airy designs that feel cosy while offering modern facilities. Some rooms look out over the Himalayas and the Ganga, while smaller rooms offer quiet inner shanti. Watch pastel sunsets from our terrace and balcony, with the lush mountains all around.

A contemporary hall designed to make body and soul move — spacious, with high ceilings and large windows that bring in natural light. Natural wooden floors give firm, shock-absorbing footing, and there is room to go deep into practice while teachers move freely to assist you. Bolsters, mats, straps, and blocks are all provided — you only need to bring yourself.
Behind the school the jungle is vast, the birds sing, and the monkeys play. A 15-minute walk through the forest brings you to spring-fed waterfalls, where you can drink the water, cool off, practise pranayama in the purest air, or simply listen to nature sing with your mantras.
