RYT-200 Certification & Yoga Alliance

Yoga Alliance is a yoga school organization. Yoga Alliance Directory represents 24000+ yoga teachers and schools that meet the training standards. Yoga Alliance recognizes World Peace Yoga School. All yoga teachers who have completed a yoga certification course in Goa will receive a certificate.

If you have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training, then you can apply for RYT-200. RYT stands for Registered Yoga Teacher. Most importantly, all training hours should be from the same yoga school. You can not combine multiple training sessions for the 200-hour requirement. Simply put, you must complete the course from a registered yoga school.

Yoga Alliance offers six RYT credentials based on the completion of your training.

  • RYT 200: Graduated from RYS 200.
  • E-RYT 200: Graduated from RYS 200 + Taught min 1000 hours under two years.
  • RYT 500: Graduated from RYS 200 and RYS 300 Or RYS 500 + Taught min 100 hours.
  • E-RYT 500: Graduated From RYS 200 and RYS 300 Or RYS 500 + Taught min 2000 hours under four years.
  • RCYT: Graduated from RCYS and RYS 200 + 30 hours of children's yoga teaching.
  • RPYT: Graduated from RPYS and RYS 200 + 30 hours of prenatal yoga teaching.

What Is Yogic Diet?

The Yogic Diet includes the consumption of unprocessed and natural food. Based on the Yogic philosophy, it is crucial for your body's physical, mental, and spiritual health. The diet is based on three yogic principles; Saucha, Sattva, and Ahimsa.

Saucha

It is the practice of cleanliness and purity. You can simply promote Saucha by reducing or removing impurities from your body. It is done by eating organic foods that are free of chemicals.

Sattva

It is a state of calmness. Sattvic food prompts a clear mind and calm heart. The food includes vegetables, fruits, mild healing spices, beans, whole grains, and fresh vegetables.

Ahimsa

It means non-violence. It is an idea that all living things are connected. If you do not harm living things, the world will be better. Eliminate or reduce the consumption of dairy products and meat.

Follow A Yogic Diet

Here are the steps for following a yogic diet:

  • Eat seasonal foods.

How to prepare for a 200-hour Kundalini yoga teacher training?

If you have been engaged in other yoga forms, this will be another experience, at another level for you. Meditation and pranayama already prepare you for the next level, which in this case is Kundalini Yoga. If you are a beginner, you do not need any basic preparation. Hatha Yoga is also a part of the syllabus, so you will get to strengthen your body through it. Then you can venture inwards.

Is the 200 hours of kundalini yoga teacher training enough for teaching yoga?

Yes - 200 hours is enough to begin to teach as Kundalini Yoga Teacher and our course is recognised by Yoga Alliance.

How is the long practice required for teaching yoga?

You can be a beginner or Yoga teacher want to develop further practise- this is for anyone , any level for both the self or to teach.

Code Of Conduct For Students

Yogic discipline and a recommended code of conduct are expected from all our dear students. World Peace Yoga School has the following disciplinary rules for our participants.

  • Smoking, Alcohol Non Veg including eggs are strictly prohibited in the school.
  • Inform the kitchen manager in advance if you have a fast/eat out on any day to avoid food wastage.
  • Always maintain discipline within the premises and be respectful to the teachers by obeying all the rules.
  • Maintain punctuality and arrive on time for the classes – latecomers will not be permitted to join sessions.
  • Return books, maps, or any goods which you might have borrowed from our institution.
  • World Peace Yoga School offers accommodation only for its students who join our Yoga courses, not to friends or family.
  • Complete attendance is compulsory in all the scheduled programs of World Peace Yoga School.
