Know The Chakras

Seven Chakras In Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini is derived from the word Kundal, which implies a serpent curled around something. Kundalini is a powerful and significant energy housed inside us. Kundalini energy in the human body is dormant until we attempt to activate it. Pranayama, yoga, meditation, kundalini kriyas, and other practices can help to activate it. The energy flows upwards through your body, connecting the seven major chakras.

Here are further details about each of the seven chakras:

Muldhara

Muldhara is the root chakra and the foundation of all things. This chakra is represented by a Lotus flower with four petals and the color red. Muldhara may be seen between the perineum and the pelvic bone. It is the foundation of all chakras, from which three major nadis originate. The chakra corresponds to the cervix in females and the perineum in males. It is linked to sleep and eating. When someone stimulates the chakra, the meal becomes a selected procedure. It is thought to be the origin of all energy or chakras.

Swadhistan

Swadhisthana, the second chakra after Muldhara, is blocked by fear of death and any kind of fear. It is made up of unconscious desires. The blockage indicates low self-esteem, dependency, addiction, and instability. Fear, stress, and lack of creativity are directly related to this chakra. This chakra is directly linked to feelings. It is related to water and symbolizes fluidity, life flow, and exploring nature. This chakra symbolizes clarity, eloquence, and freedom from enemies. Loss of fear of water etc. can be achieved through meditation. The Swadhisthana chakra is a repository of deep-seated instincts and previous mental impressions.

Manipura

The third chakra, Manipura, is located above your navel. Manipura is a beautiful gem that symbolizes transformation. Manipura is the home of the fire and the wind. Manipura chakra regulates metabolism and digestion. Manipura is related to Fire. When you activate this chakra, you will feel happy and focused. Manipura is considered the center of love, willpower, energy, dynamic, and karma power. When activated, all the psychological processes speed up. You can think of Manipura chakra as a ball of fire, or a burning sun to focus on this chakra. Manipura Chakra is represented by 10 Petalled lotus & yellow color.

Anahata

Anahata means “unbeaten”, “untouched,” and “unharmed.” Anahata is the Vedic word for sound. In Sanskrit, it means “the sound produced without touching any two parts at the same time.” The chakra is situated in the center channel of the spine, which is also the soul’s and upper and lower chakra’s position. When you activate this chakra, you feel devotion, compassion, and love. This chakra symbolizes peace, serenity, and balance. It also gives you the ability to concentrate on harmonious relationships and trust, as well as forgiveness. In other words, it symbolizes kindness and love in an even-handed way. Anahata is represented by a hexagon formed by two triangles.

Vishuddhi

The fifth chakra, called Vishuddha or Vishuddhi, is located in the middle of the throat. It stands for Sound and signifies Purification. All energy associated with the throat, such as vocal energy, is ruled by the chakra. Once this chakra is balanced, you can improve your ability to communicate. This chakra supports audible, precise, and unmistakable speech and vision. You'll develop into an amazing leader, speaker, and person. This chakra raises consciousness of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It controls the thyroid, larynx, vocal cords, ears, and parathyroid glands. The chakra is symbolized by a lotus with sixteen petals and the color blue.

Ajna

Ajna is also referred to as the sixth primary chakra in the human body and the third-eye chakra. It is also known by some as the Guru Chakra, which gives our lives purpose. Ajna offers solutions and a way to arrive at the Wisdom state. It is situated between the two eyebrows in the middle of the forehead. Shiva, the god of Ajna, is able to see what is really there behind everything that is visible. When the chakra is activated, your imagination and vision become very clear. The pineal gland and the chakra are linked, and the chakra serves as a link between the mental and psychic realms. It is symbolized by a lotus with two petals and the color blue.

Sahasrara

Sahasrara, sometimes referred to as the Crown chakra, is regarded as the seventh primary chakra. It stands for unadulterated awareness. You can grasp everything and never be confused again in your life by turning it on. The symbol of boundless peace, realization, consciousness, and awareness is Sahasrara. Few people on earth are able to attain the supreme power that is associated with this chakra. Its boundless power makes it the hardest chakra to open. Sahasrara, which means "one thousand," is a symbol for a lotus flower with a thousand petals. Shiva and Shakti are united in the crown chakra.

Nothing from outside can fulfil you but yourself, happiness is within

What Is Sattvic Or Yogic Diet?

The word "sattvic" comes from the Sanskrit word "sattva." It is a philosophical idea from Indian philosophy that can mean energy, cleanliness, vitality, purity, etc. The foundation of both the Sattvic and Yogic diets is food that possesses one of the three yogic attributes. There are two classifications for food: Rajasic and Tamasic. Food that is tamasic lowers your body's energy while food that is rajasic raises it. This is the primary rationale for vegetarianism among yoga practitioners. A sattvic diet, to put it simply, places an emphasis on seasonal fruits and vegetables. The best fruits for a yogic diet are those without added sugar, as well as seeds, nuts, vegetables, oils, grains, and non-meat-based proteins. The five elements that make up the human body are also present in food. A yogic or sattvic diet has every single thing your body needs. These yoga principles form the foundation of Ayurveda. The literature on Ayurveda suggests the sattvic diet as a means of leading a healthier and more fulfilling life. Eating habits are advised to be a significant component of yoga practices. Yoga teaches us about food and drink quantities and quality. It should be palatable, satisfying, full of nutrients, and tailored to your body's requirements. Eat only when you are truly hungry; avoid going overboard or stuffing your stomach. Eat less tamasic food (meat, eggs, etc.) to increase your flexibility and focus.

Every step is an opportunity to grow, do not let it pass you by
