Seven Chakras In Kundalini Yoga

The human body consists of seven protuberant chakras or kundalinis per the Patanjali yoga sutra, the oldest and systematic form of yoga literature.

At world peace yoga school, the skilled yogis and master guide you through the 500 Hour Kundalini yoga teacher training course and offers you strong control over the hidden energy within you.

Have a look at seven chakras:

Muladhara

The root chakra or the foundation of the physical and spiritual being of the human body is called Muladhara. This is the root that connects the three qualities of a soul: Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas. This chakra is known to be present at the root of the spine that makes a strong bond between the body and the soul. This is the main chakra on which all six layers of the chakras maintain their presence. This chakra is like the stockroom of energy on a static phase until it is awakened, and all energy is directed upward to attain a high state of daze.

Swadhistan

It is a kundalini chakra that is present above the Muladhara and is the main point of all procreative energy. This is also good with the reproductive and the sexual energy center responsible for forming life on this earth. This is also counted among the most concerned chakras if human that causes strong inclination to sexual desires. When awakened, this Kundalini can provide good control over one's sexual desires and can take the Brahma Beej to an elevated state.

Manipura

This is the third Kundalini chakra called Mansoura, also called the power seat. It is present below the navel region. It is the place where the personal recognition sense is present. This is the center for control of our physical wellbeing and physiological wellbeing and has a good impact on the energy flow in the human body.

Anahata

This Kundalini chakra is present in the center of the chest in the spine responsible for controlling human emotions. This chakra can open up a deep sense of happiness and peace when awakened. When you awaken, this chakra will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride with various feelings of joy and sadness, resulting in pure bliss and peace. Some individuals might also experience some temporary divinity and listen to sounds of flutes as well as humming while awakening this chakra.

Vishuddhi

Located in the cervical plexus just behind the throat region, this is the chakra of purity. Awakening of this chakra results in some special capabilities like sweet voice, singing abilities, and amazing talks. Shabd Yoga is the practice needed for awakening this chakra and can be easily opened by chanting manta jaaps and listening to devotional music.

Ajna

This is the supreme kundalini chakra that is well known to command the whole physical body. It is present just above your eyebrows, exactly in the middle between both of your eyes. It is known as the powerhouse and provides visions, great light flash, and deep stillness. One of the best illustrations of the power of this chakra is Mahadeva Shiva's 3rd eye.

Sahasrara

This is a high level of Kundalini, which is present in the middle of the skull, just on the top of the spinal cord. This chakra is demarked as a lotus with several petals and is known to be the supreme state of accomplishment in physical presence. When you awaken this Kundalini, it can surely open up tremendous powers to the state of trance and provide a human's supreme state. Under Sadguru’s guidance, we can awaken this chakra, systematically tying together an unbelievable amount of energy.

What Is Yogic Diet?

Yoga believes the body is made of five elements and food also contains five elements and has six tastes. When we consume food that contains each element that is called a balanced diet or yogic diet. The whole science of Ayurveda is based on these principles. Everyone has different tastes. This is not only because of their habits but it is because of what actually the body needs. When we consume food without proper knowledge of what our body needs, we create diseases. However, when we consume food that has all the necessary elements, we are healthy and satisfied.

Yogic food contains proper nutrients that the body needs to grow. Consuming too little or too much food is also very risky for our health, so a holistic diet is very important. Yogis always avoid tamasic food like meat, egg, etc. Avoiding tamasic food helps you become more flexible and compassionate. Listen to Guruji's lecture on Vegetarianism.

A vegetarian or a healthy diet consists of green vegetables, fresh fruits, lentils, beans, plant-based oils like coconut, mustard, peanuts etc. This kind of food is easy to digest and makes us feel lighter, at peaceful, and conscious
