What Is Yogic Diet?

The human body is composed of five elements, much like the elements found in food. A yogic or balanced diet incorporates all these elements when eating. The entire Ayurvedic science is built on these principles. If you eat without considering the body's needs, it can lead to diseases. Conversely, when you consume food that includes all the essential elements, it promotes good health.

The yogic diet provides all the necessary nutrients for your body's growth. Having a balanced diet is crucial because both overeating and undereating pose health risks. Steering clear of tamasic foods like eggs or meat can contribute to increased passion and flexibility. A yogic diet comprises green vegetables, lentils, fresh fruits, beans, peanut oil, mustard oil, coconut oil, etc. It is easily digestible, promoting a sense of consciousness and lightness in the body.

The best place for yoga teacher training in Thailand. I completed the 300-hour YTTC from here and I am so grateful to the team. It was really amazing how helpful, kind, and attentive the teachers were. Vegetables and local fruits were freshly cooked with different recipes and spices.
