What Is Sattvic Diet?

Light and healthful meals are part of a sattvic diet. Sattvic meals are believed to boost vitality, happiness, tranquility, and mental clarity in Ayurvedic practice. In real life, that means consuming good, fresh, healthy, and vegetarian foods. Depending on how strictly you adhere to it, this may appear different for various people because many experts advise paying attention to what your body requires and consuming those items. A yogic diet, according to many, should consist of meals that do the least amount of harm to oneself or other living things. In keeping with this idea, a lot of yogis decide to adopt a vegetarian or vegan diet.

The benefits of the sattvic or yogic diet are:

  • Vegetarians and vegans have a 30% lower chance of dying from ischemic heart disease than meat eaters. Plant-based diets tend to be lower in saturated fat and higher in fiber.
  • Vegetarianism and a diet rich in whole plant foods both lower the risk of cancer. Numerous phytochemicals found in fruits and vegetables may help prevent cancer. Diets high in fiber can also help you maintain a healthy weight, which lowers your chance of getting some cancers.
  • Maintaining a healthy weight and eating a plant-based diet can help reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes. Furthermore, research shows that vegetarians who consume the same amount of meat have a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes than meat eaters.
  • Consuming a plant-based diet may lower your chance of stroke. According to this viewpoint, eating a diet high in whole grains, legumes, and leafy greens while reducing added sugars, refined grains, and potatoes is beneficial.

World Peace Yoga School in Thailand offers a 200-Hour tantra and kundalini yoga teacher training course that offers a solid basis for studying and practicing various varieties of Kundalini. This unique chance to learn about the many kinds of kundalini and tantra will be beneficial to yoga instructors, sound healers, aspiring yoga practitioners, and readers.

One of the main objectives of our kundalini and tantra teacher training in Thailand is to assist students in learning the chakra awakening process through tantra and kundalini, rather than merely teaching techniques.

Our Yoga Excursion

Our yoga teacher training program includes excursions, as does our yoga retreat. Essentially, we take our students to many popular locations throughout the yoga classes so they may become familiar with everything that is well-known in the community.
