Pillars Of World Peace Yoga School
It is the teacher who inspires and elevates the consciousness of the student. Although television, Youtube and social media gives us a lot of information but it does not have the ability to lead us towards true knowledge and the real essence of yoga. Our teachers are extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and are able to transfer this transmission into the life of the students with compassion, love and continuous support. The strength and reputation of our school lies in the strength and quality of our teachers. We have a passionate, honest and humble teaching team with us that are ready to spread and share the ancient wisdom of yoga.
Founder Of WPYS
Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi has been steeped in spiritual endeavors since when he was a kid. As a young boy, his grandfather told him to meditate and pursue spirituality from an honest and pure perspective. A Radhe-Krishna Temple was constructed by his grandfather in their village in Odisha, India where Vishnu would frequently serve food and water to wandering sadhus. In the larger town ten kilometers away from his village, young Vishnu would skip school and attend the Satsang (spiritual company and discourse of the saintly) of several swamis, counting among them was Swami Avdheshanand Giri of Haridwar. He found a Kalyana-Mitra (a friend on the noble path) in a boyhood friend who would arrange to meet with him at 3 a.m. in secluded places away from the village. Here they would join for meditation and chant "Mohamudgaram," a famous hymn by Adi Shankaracharya, to dispel their fears and gain vairagya (intense inclination to renunciation). On Sundays and holidays, Vishnu would serve the impoverished people at the nearby hospital by washing them and taking care of those waiting and recovering from treatment. There was always a lack of nurses to care for the patients who had to lay on the cement floor with inadequate facilities. One day, young Vishnu met an old man who had a horrible odour with small worms affix to his legs. He was overlooked by the doctors for a long time but eventually, his legs were treated and bandaged. For a few days, Vishnu took it upon himself to care for the man by cleaning his beard and taking care of his every need. The man was so grateful and — driven to the happiness he blessed young Vishnu.
Traditional Kundalini & Tantra Yoga
My life is dedicated to human unity, love, and compassion through our work at Samadhi Kundalini Yoga Ashram and The World Peace Yoga School. Kundalini Tantra, Pranayama & Meditation are my passions and my goal is to help set you free so that you can be your true authentic self. Born in the UK to an Indian family, I was drawn to the path of spirituality from a young age, but it was life's mis-steps and experiences that gradually made the call from my soul loud enough to leave behind my life in the UK and return to India. Yoga was the path that lifted the veil for me to live life once again in the present moment. I quickly immersed myself in the wisdom of yoga, learning from many of the great masters of the Himalayas, qualifying as a Kundalini Yoga teacher and going on to master Sound Healing, Cacao Rituals and Reiki which I love to bring into my Kundalini practice. My life a service to humanity. As Kundalini Teacher of World Peace Yoga School, my vision is to share the beauty and power of the wisdom that changed my life with you.
