{"id":72,"date":"2016-08-12T10:11:24","date_gmt":"2016-08-12T10:11:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldpeaceyogaschool.com\/blog\/?p=72"},"modified":"2016-08-12T10:14:20","modified_gmt":"2016-08-12T10:14:20","slug":"yoga-exercise-for-the-eyes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldpeaceyogaschool.com\/blog\/yoga-exercise-for-the-eyes\/","title":{"rendered":"Yoga Exercise For The Eyes"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Yoga Exercise For The Eyes<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Sideways viewing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assume a sitting position with the legs straight int the font of the body.<\/p>\n<p>Raise the arms to the side at shoulder level, keeping them straight, make a loose fist and point the thumbs upwards.<\/p>\n<p>The thumbs should be just in the peripheral vision when the head is facing forward. If they are not clearly visible, bring them slightly forward until they come into view.<\/p>\n<p>The head should not move. Look at a fixed point directly in front and on a level with the eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Fix the position of the head in this neutral position. Then, without moving the head sideways, focus the eyes on the following, one after the other:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a)left thumb<\/li>\n<li>b)space between the eyebrows, bhrumadhya<\/li>\n<li>c)right thumb<\/li>\n<li>d)space between the eyebrows<\/li>\n<li>e)left thumb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Repeat this cycle 10 times, keeping the head and spine straight throughout. Finally, close and rest the eyes.
